Wow, what a week. I love opening up my e-mail to see all the wonderful e-mails from all of you.. Thank you:) They mean the world to me. So considering I wrote home on Thursday I don't have too much to update but I will do my best.
If anything I've learned from this week is respect and love for the leaders of the Church. I love serving and working with these sisters. Most of our days this week have been on our knee's pleading with the Lord for direction and for help for them. But it has been an incredible experience to receive revelation and to feel God's love for these sisters. I'm so blessed to be here:).
This past week was completely crazy but most of it was self-inflicted craziness, thinking we can take on all the struggles of everyone and figure it all out, but humbly realizing that we are merely tools for the Lord in HIS work. That he will take care of him, all that is required of us is to do our best.
All right update so I live in Caldwell, It's a cute town with lots of people, beautiful houses. My companion and I live in the 2nd floor of a house (I’ll try to send a picture soon)
Oh I forgot some of the greatest news. My investigator Eric in Paterson was baptized yesterday!!! Sister Jakins and Sister Snow told me that he was so happy and excited! Ah I'm so excited for him! Wahoo! Ok Also I neglected to tell you, so remember Sister Richardson my trainer? How she was my sister training leader since I’ve been in Paterson. I basically took her spot. I now am in Caldwell where she served ha-ha it's pretty great, following the steps of my mission mom.
We have some amazing people we are working with here. Our investigator Denise is getting baptized this Saturday, she has 2 darling little boys and she has so much faith. She reads every day she prays, she comes to church she just doesn't feel like she's doing enough. She is the biggest sweet heart you'll ever meet. She’s 5 foot 1 inch and sometimes I just feel like picking her up and putting her in my scripture bag or something.
Ok two most heard comments I’ve heard since I’ve been here in Caldwell. "You’re really tall" and "your hands are cold". Cold hands warm heart right? Right,, maybe. ok well ya.
I love Denise she is incredible. One of the best parts of serving in Caldwell is the member work they do here. They are on fire!!!! It makes such a huge difference when members are involved in the work.
So I have a challenge for everyone who reads my letters. (Don’t be scared, change refines us) I invite all of you; wither with your families or individually, to come up with your VISION for missionary work. How are you going to be involved? Maybe inviting the missionaries to teach one of there investigators in your home. Fellowshipping someone who's coming to church. Reaching out to a less active member. Whatever your VISION, or Dream is. Write it down. Talk about it. Then set specific goals of how you are going to achieve this vision. Maybe give out 5 pass along cards, serve others, and talk to a friend about the gospel. Praying for missionary opportunities. Give the missionaries a referral. Or even praying for the missionaries and there investigators. Then make PLANS of how you will do it. Then of course, be accountable to it. Report to the Lord how you are doing in your efforts to share the gospel.
I promise you as you come up with a vision of where you want to be at the end of the year, in regards to missionary work. The Lord will see your desire and he will bless you with the opportunity to change someone’s life. That life might even be your own.
Missionary work doesn't just have to be sharing the gospel, you share the gospel though your example how you live. "Share the gospel at all times and when necessary use words." So will you do it? Missionary work is the happiest work there is. It reminds me of in Alma 26 I think when Ammon and his brethren are sharing the gospel. And it says,” never had men such reason to rejoice as we" (sorry I'm not quoting it right but the concept is true.) The Lord blesses us as we make goals and ask for his help:)
Ok sorry, missionary mode, but yes please consider this challenge, I've been praying for you all back home and this was what came to my mind. So this is an invitation from the Lord:)
Friday was amazing! I was able to attend District leader training and learn more about my calling and what is expected of me and how I can serve the Lord more. I learned a lot:) it was incredible.
Saturday we had soccer at the church. Ok fun fact about sister Clark, Soccer is actually kinda fun.. I had never tried it until Saturday, it's pretty intense. I'm not good at it but I still had fun.
One of the coolest things about our ward in Caldwell is we had an English ward with a Spanish group. Last Sunday before I came they announced that they were forming a Spanish branch. So we were able to be apart of the big split. It was amazing. My companion was called to be the Spanish branch organist. So hopefully I'll learn a little bit of Spanish. The Lord keeps placing me in opportunities to learn but I don't take advantage of them. So now, I get to sit through a Spanish sacrament meeting every Sunday so hopefully something will sink in.
Oh anther thing about Caldwell, they like to feed us... a lot. It’s delicious. I like it when members feed us it's the best:)

Ok well this week will be fun, now all the craziness of planning for these sisters is done; now we get to go on exchanges. Basically I just get to be with and serve these sisters for the rest of the transfer:) yay!
Ok well I love you all, sorry for the interesting letter this week. I'm planning on going home to take a nap after this. I love this work! The gospel is true! I love you all! Keep doing what your doing.
Love,
Sister Clark
